About Me

I am a Collector NOT a Trader!

I have been collecting memorabilia for over 30 years and have amassed a significant collection over this time.

Basically, I have run out of room in my home for any more memorabilia but do not want to have to stop collecting as I love the buzz I get from finding something special.

As a compromise I have decided to sell some of my collection,so I can continue doing it.

A Picture Framer by trade I have incorporated this with my Hobby of collecting memorabilia making these special items even more beautiful.

The Facts

Over the years, sadly, most signed memorabilia sold online are now fake.

So called COA (Certificate of Authenticity) offered with memorabilia, which are no more than just printed pieces of paper printed directly from the sellers computer. Is this really proof?!...

Let’s be honest, the ONLY way you can be sure if a signature is real is if you got it yourself in person and who has the time or the money to do this? With every other method there is always a risk.

However, this risk can be greatly reduced if you purchase from dealers who are registered with bodies such as AFTAL or UACC as these sellers are monitored and care about their reputations as their livelihoods depend on it.

Another option is to purchase from companies that have exclusive contracts with the stars providing officially licensed products.

Buying from the US, memorabilia should contain JSA or PSA/DNA authenticity or the company should be an Accredited Business.

Genuine items can also be found at reputable auction houses with in house authenticators which gives the added bonus of a free appraisal and assured authenticity.

Stick to the above and this way you’ll know that your COA is actually worth more than just the paper it’s printed on.  It is the best way, other than getting the signature yourself, of knowing that your hard-earned money has been spent on something that is genuine.

Unfortunately, the above comes at a price, as I have found out over the years!

However, using my experience, together with an enormous amount of time spent trawling the internet, I have been lucky enough to find special pieces at reasonable prices.
